Product Description

The 2011 Home Run Cuvée "Kick Ranch Vineyard", Sonoma County is incredibly impressive, and has changed dramatically through aging. When the wines finished malolactic fermentation, they were tightly wound and unapproachable. After some time in barrel, they started to exhibit soft, welcoming and delicate nuances. The aroma reveals white pepper, savory herbs and rose oil. Truffles, saffron and tar lead into black cherry, plum and gravel. The palate is long and concentrated through the finish.

The 2012 Home Run Cuvée "Kick Ranch Vineyard", Sonoma County is beautifully balanced yet highly expressive aromas of rosemary, lavender and violet lead to a core of blueberry compote, Madagascar vanilla, and boysenberry. The palate has soft texture, and silky cacao tannins. Well integrated acid makes this wine a perfect match for grilled meats and roasted lamb.
