Italics Winegrowers are luxury producers of Bordeaux varietals and blends from Napa Valley. Helmed by Proprietor Mike Martin, they employ both estate and négociant winemaking to the same end: to highlight the best of what Napa Valley has to offer. Italics believes that wine tells more than a story of where it is from, wine is a moment in time, a sense of place, and a journey until opened.

The 2018 Terroir by Appellations Cabernet Sauvignon, has a classic nose of raspberry, boysenberry, cocoa, tarragon, and anise. With blackberry notes that lead to a focused mouth of cherry, cranberry, coffee grounds and hints of bell pepper. Black tea tannins give way to a long finish of dark chocolate covered strawberries. Terroir is a French term often used to describe the soil in which grape varietals are grown, highlighting the influence from the climate, soil, and topography.
