Does it work to keep the laptop cool in the heat?

The laptop case has been treated with nano coating to repel water and dirt and heat to some extent but with saying that it's still a laptop that should be treated with care to prevent it from being overheated. So keep it away from direct sunlight to prevent it from being overheated.

Is it lockable?

No, it is not lockable.

Will this work for other models besides MacBooks?

Yes, the DRYCASE will provide slim fit protection for other brands as well.

The DRYCASE is also equipped with two horizontal elastic bands to keep the laptop in place and prevent it from moving around inside the case.
