This telescope incorporates a sturdy tripod and single-arm mount featuring a vixen-style dovetail receiver. The vixen-style dovetail receiver allows for effortless removal of the OTA and provides versatility for the option to attach an array of OTAs. Also featured with this mount is Meade’s AudioStar® computer controller. With AudioStar’s 30,000 object-database and over 4 hours of audio presentations built-in the electronics, you can spend countless hours learning about the objects you’re viewing.

The telescope also comes with a Smart Phone Adapter that will allow you to take pictures through the telescope. This is ideal for taking images of the Moon, planets, and other bright object like star clusters and sharing them with friends.
