Before Mann Egerton emerged in the automobile industry, it was Laurence Scott & Company & possessed the reputation of high quality and reliable electrical installations. Scott happily sold the business to Gerald Mann who retained many of the original company’s employees, and Mann Egerton was born, focusing on manufacturing electric motors. These timepieces are a result of that heritage and industry.
