Released in 2013, this magnificent silver bar highlights the Year of The Snake. As the sixth animal on the12 animal lunar calendar, the snake represents those born in 1941, 1953, 1965, 1977, 2001, 2013, and the years in 12 -year increments before and after.

On the obverse side is a coiled snake with a textured filed background. The Chinese, and English symbols for the year of issue, 2013, are seen in the upper left corner. The reverse side shows the refinery in bold lettering at the top, while the purity, weight, and unique serial number are below.

This bar is 1 TROY OUNCE, which is 31.07 grams vs. a regular coin which is 28 grams. This coin also carries a .999 fine silver content (3 x 9’s fine). It doesn’t get any higher than this in coinage production!
