How can a belt fit 26-54? Where does the extra belt go?

These belts have a clip on the back of the buckle, all you have to do is lift it up. Once you do that, slide out the strap will, then you cut off all the extra slack with any pair of scissors to get the exact size you want. Then put the strap back into the buckle and close the clip so that it's locked again.
