1969 New York Mets Team Signed Baseball
Product Description
The 1969 Mets were known as "The Miracle Mets" for good reason. As an expansion team in 1962 they had one of the worst seasons in baseball history, 40-120. A winning percentage of .250, only better than the 1935 Braves (.248). From their first season in 1962 through 1968 the Mets never had a winning season. However, in 1969, the uninspiring Mets, earned the name, “The Miracle Mets” by posting a regular season record of 100-62, capturing the National League pennant and ultimately winning the World Series.
This Official National League baseball is signed by 26 members of that team. Signature include: Jerry Koosman, Al Weis, Tom Seaver, Ron Swoboda, Jerry Grote, Tommie Agee, Amos Otis, Bud Harrelson and more.
