Thought to have impacted northern Scandinavia over one million years ago, this meteorite was first described in 1910 by A.G. Högbom and named after the Muonio River. Discovered in 1906, it is estimated to have fallen 110,000 years ago, making this pendant an extraordinary connection to the cosmos.
