Product Description

A Carcharodontosaurus tooth in a glass display box from Tegana Formation, North Africa. This tooth is from the Cretaceous Age— approximately 65 million years old. Carcharodontosaurus is one of the longest and heaviest known carnivorous dinosaurs, with various scientists proposing length estimates ranging between 12 and 13 m (39-43.5 ft) and weight estimates between 6 and 15 metric tons. This tooth is from a large Carcharodontosaurus saharicus dinosaur. May have been larger than a T-Rex, this dinosaur had large serrated "steak-knife" teeth superbly adapted to cutting and rending flesh.
